Selena Gomez shared opinion on Taylor Swift and her friends who gathered to watch the NBA finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.

The 33-year-old did not attend the games which had more than 100 celebrities in attendance.

A post by MTV caught her attention which had the Love Story crooner celebrating with other attendees, jumping sky-high.

However, the People You Know hitmaker confused fans as she commented on the post with “lol,” seemingly poking fun at the Grammy winner.

Fans couldn’t understand the reason she penned down the remark while many slammed her for writing the comment.

One of the X users noted: “She’s so stupid,” referring to her not understanding the update.

Another fan backed the musician, writing: “She’s not throwing shade btw,” calling out the author for posting the content on the platform.

Selena couldn’t attend the games as she is busy filming the new season of Only Murders in the Building which has now moved to London.
