Jeremy Lin speaks on viral Kim Kardashian dating claims

Jeremy Lin is clearing the air on long running rumours linking him to Kim Kardashian during the peak of “Linsanity.”

The former New York Knicks guard addressed the speculation during an appearance on Pablo Torre Finds Out, recalling the 2012 media buzz that suggested the SKIMS founder had shown interest in him.

He said he remembered reading headlines like “Kim Kardashian Wants to Date Jeremey Lin,” but insisted he had no idea where the rumours began.

He also revisited an old interview clip where he dismissed the gossip, saying, “Stuff about me dating Kim Kardashian. I don't know where that came from, and all these other rumors.”

At the time, when questioned about the speculation, he replied, “No, I don’t think I’m that kind of person.”

During the podcast, the ex-NBA player noted he was told Kardashian may have requested to feature a New York athlete for one of her reality projects, though he stressed he could not confirm the details.

He mentioned the Knicks declined the request and were highly protective of him during his breakout season.

Moreover, he noted that the organisation tightly controlled his media exposure during “Linsanity,” a period that defined his rise in the NBA alongside Carmelo Anthony.
