Steve Martin gets health scare ahead of major gig

Comedian Steve Martin had to cancel a gig because of health concern.

The actor, who is starring in the hit show Only Murders in the Building alongside Selena Gomez and Marin Short, was due to make an appearance on two comedy shows.

Steve was supposed to make an appearance with co-star Martin on The Dukes Of Funnytown! Tour.

The pair was set to appear at The Dome in Virginia Beach which was cancelled.

Following this cancellation, he also had to cancel Saturday night show at Richmond's Allianz Amphitheater at the Riverfront.

It was revealed that the cancellation happened due to him catching COVID/

He shared a picture of a positive COVID test with the caption explaining the mishap.

“Dear Virginia Beach and Richmond. Sadly, I have some down with Covid. I can't possibly do the show that you deserve,”, he wrote.

He added that him and Martin will not appear saying, “So Marty and I must cancel tonight & tomorrow. But we will return under better circumstances.”

Later he edited the caption writing, “Hey! No flu!”
