Selena Gomez caught a peek at Martin Short’s phone at the 2025 Emmys, while he was texting Meryl Streep at one point in the event.

The veteran duo, that has been sparking romance rumours since last year, also play a couple in the beloved show Only Murders in the Building.

Although the three-time Academy Award winner did not attend the event, it seems she was updated about the details of the prestigious Emmys, thanks to the Tony award winner.

In a clip that has now gone viral, Martin can be seen smiling at his phone as Selena catches a glimpse of it.

The Rare founder then turns to her fiancé Benny Blanco, who was seated beside her and smiles as while mouthing what appears to be "Marty's texting Meryl."

Meanwhile the Father of the Bride star has previously sung the praises of The Devil Wears Prada star, saying that she is very polite, generous and fun and doesn’t act like a diva, which she has all the right in the world to do.

Notably, Selena has also opened up about being starstruck by Meryl’s presence on set for the co-worker’s comedy drama.
