Ernest Heinz has made headlines for being charged with attempted homicide after he shot at a woman as a result of extreme road rage.
The Resident Evil video games face model cut off a woman, Maritza Arias-Galva, after she attempted to merge lanes at a red light, he then allegedly yelled, threatened to kill and ultimately fired a gun aimed at her face.
Maritza the proceeded to call the Galloway Township Police and pinpoint his vehicle to be a Honda SUV as the 48-year-old fled the scene and caused chaos for taking off on a road that ran through Stockton University’s campus.
This prompted a lockdown at the university as soon as they were alerted by the authorities that the perpetrator was on the loose.
Ernest was later found at a home in Blue Herron Pines Development, and taken into custody as he awaits his hearing.
The Sopranos actor has been charged with crimes like possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose and aggravated assault with a firearm and is being detained in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Notably, Ernest has not appeared in any prominent roles, and his last project is a short film called The Soul of Blue Eye from 2014.
The Galloway Township Police Chief Eric B. Hendrickson stated, "The prompt and professional actions of our officers resulted in a quick apprehension of Mr. Heinz, we wish Ms. Aria-Galva a swift recovery, and we are here to support our community following this senseless incident."
