Wednesday’s Hunter Doohan shuts down speculation over Jenna Ortega

Hunter Doohan, who had his breakthrough with Netflix’s Wednesday in 2022, has hit back at bizarre rumours about himself and his co-stars.

The 31-year-old actor has blasted “weird” TikTok videos spreading false speculations about his relationship with Jenna Ortega, and even claims that his husband is jealous of her.

For those unfamiliar, the actor married film producer Fielder Jewett in 2022, with the couple keeping much of their relationship out of the spotlight.

Speaking on the upcoming episode of the I’ve Never Said This Before podcast, Hunter admitted he has been left frustrated by the outrageous claims circulating online.

He revealed, “The Wednesday fans, every interaction I’ve had with them in real life has been so great. And online it’s mostly positive.

But there have honestly been these weird videos on TikTok that have spread rumours about me, Jenna [Ortega], Emma [Myers] and other cast members’ personal lives that are just not true.”

He went on to confess that the allegations sometimes makes him want to step back from sharing personal details.

According to some fans, the Your Honor actor had issues with Jenna after missing the London premiere of Wednesday.

However, he laughed off the claims, clarifying that he was filming in New Zealand at the time.

Is there season 3 of Wednesday?

Wednesday has officially been renewed for a third season by Netflix. 

Filming is expected to begin in 2026, with a likely release window in mid-to-late 2027.
