Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner’s recent October Vogue cover faced backlash from netizens.
On September 8, Vogue revealed the next month's cover story celebrity, which turned out to be supermodels Gigi and Kendall.
The two best friends embraced their country lifestyle at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where the photoshoot took place.
However, not everyone seemed to like the ‘KenGi’ collaboration. Netizens took to the comment section to express their disappointment at the cover. One fan wrote, “Is it me, or do they look very poorly photoshopped into that background?”
Another follower penned, “At this joint, just call the publication Jenner x Hadids.” Other social media users called out the magazine to stop using the same models and celebrities.
They said, “Dear Vogue, it’s time to mix it up and feature more interesting cover stars.” Calling the girls ‘favourites' of the outlet.
Notably, the blonde and brunette duo posed close together wearing Alexander McQueen prairie dresses, and in the videos, they’re seen being draped in Marc Jacobs and Dior.
For the unversed, the pair have spent a decade at the top of the fashion industry. They have been dubbed the Betty and Veronica of the Instagram model generation.
The supermodels have been friends for well over a decade. They were introduced by Gigi’s sister, Bella, when she connected with Kendall online in the mid-2010s.
