American rapper Doja Cat puzzles fans by eating lipstick on VMAs red carpet
Doja Cat, who is about to release her new album Vie, stunned everyone by eating her MAC lipstick on the red carpet.
Although it raised fans’ concerns for the singer, the beauty brand later revealed the secret of the stunt.
It was confirmed that it was not original but actually made of chocolate by famous chef and artist Amaury Guichon, who is notable for creating realistic desserts on social media.
“The Chocolate Guy” showed the entire process of his art in a video which was shared by MAC, captioned: “You didn’t really think we’d let @dojacat eat Lady Danger… did you?”
The cosmetic brand admitted they hired “@amauryguichon” to get the desired result, successfully confusing everyone online and on-site.
Fans admired the idea as one user suggested this to be turned in to a product “that we could gift to people.”
Another gushed about the chef: “The GREATEST craftsmanship there EVER was!” While a netizen admitted being “concerned for a second, then thought it had to be a snack of some sort.”
Apart from the icon move, the Woman hitmaker brought heat to the event’s stage by giving an iconic performance on Jealous Type.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old will be releasing her new studio album Vie on September 26, 2025.
