Social media is fuming over Draco Malfoy’s cumulative screen time on ‘Harry Potter’

Harry Potter fans have taken to social media to showcase their outcry over the treatment Draco Malfoy suffered on the sets of Harry Potter.

For an eight movie series that spans over a total of 19 hours, Malfoy barely got a cumulative 31 minutes of screen time, in the entire franchise.

The Twitter storm began after a user by the name of @alexsummersx started the issue, and from that point on many joined the user’s escapade and began bashing the franchise for its attitude.

The tweet in question read, “The fact Draco Malfoy was only in 31 minutes throughout the WHOLE of the Harry Potter franchise (19 hrs & 40 mins) jus doesn’t sit right with me.”

The actual number crunching was done by the video recommending site IMDB. It calculated Malfoy’s entire screen time and chalked it up to barely 2.5% of their entire franchise.

What makes it all even worse is that in Order of the Phoenix, Malfoy was seen for a whole one minute and 15 seconds according to the Daily Mail.
