Young Thug is seemingly addressing the online chatter after some of his calls from jail along with interrogation footage has made rounds online.
The Danny Glover singer has been facing backlash from netizens over the conversations that took place while he was awaiting trial for his YSL RICO case.
In a recent tweet, the Atlanta based rapper candidly writes, “Bashing me only goin f*k that rap community up more, I’m the blue to this fake a* game.”
The singer, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams II, also noted that he prefers death before disgrace in a tweet prior to this one, since he was being accused of mentioning Peewee Roscoe in relation to Lil Wayne’s tour bus incident from 2015.
“They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere,” he wrote, maintaining his innocence which was also backed by Roscoe himself.
Meanwhile Young Thug has shaded and thrown jabs at his former collaborator Gunna, after speculation of him being a snitch for taking a plea deal in the RICO case went viral.
The mumble rapper as also asked the Wunna singer to stop pretending like the two were still friends, since they were not.
Yes, the rap community often has contentious figures, lyrics about violence, guns, misogyny as well as rivalries that have even resulted in deaths.
