Travis Kelce breaks silence on engagement to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce finally opened up about his engagement to the queen of pop, Taylor Swift, sparking reactions from fans.

On August 26, the 36-year-old got down on one knee at the Missouri mansion surrounded by hundreds of pink and white flowers and popped the question.

However, the pictures were taken as a photoshoot for the public announcement. According to Travis’s father, the football player proposed to Taylor in early August.

In a trailer clip from the New Heights podcast, hosted by the NFL star and his brother, Jason Kelce.

Travis excitedly said, “It's been really fun telling everybody who I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with.” The Kansas City Chiefs tight end also expressed his gratitude to the fans.

He added, “I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts, all the excitement that's been going on.”

Netizens rushed to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their sentiments about Travis’s comments. One fan wrote, “Legit the biggest flex of all time. Imagine just casually dropping that Taylor Swift is going to be your WIFE!”

Another follower penned, “This is exactly how a fiancé should feel. Taylor chose right.”

Notably, the lovebirds were spotted in Kansas attending the NCAA football game at Arrowhead Stadium soon after breaking the good news. They were joined by Jason Kelce and Brittany Mahomes.
