Tom Holland has revealed the some of the best writing he has worked on comes from one of his latest projects.
The actor, who is currently filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, remarked on the movie he just wrapped up on prior to this one, The Odyssey.
In an interview with Agence France-Presse, the 29-year-old stated that Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s epic was “the best script I’ve ever read.”
“Chris [Nolan] is a real collaborator, he knows what he wants… but it is not an environment where you can’t pitch ideas or build characters in certain ways,” Holland said.
The BAFTA winner has praised the filming process of the project as well, saying that it was the best experience he had had on set, as well calling the role the job of a lifetime.
Holland plays Telemachus, Odysseus’ son, in the highly anticipated action fantasy film.
The movie features Matt Damon as the lead, with other revered actors and actresses like, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron and Jon Bernthal.
Notably, the star-studded film is set to release in July of 2026 and is so sought-after that it has pre-sold tickets.
The Odyssey is adapted from the ancient Greek poet, Homer’s epic. The story follows the king of Ithaca, Odysseus, and his journey back after the Trojan War.
