Benedict Cumberbatch reveals secret of happy life with wife

Benedict Cumberbatch is talking about his 10-year marriage with Sophie Hunter and disclosing the one thing that annoys her.

The Sherlock Holmes actor who shares three children, Christopher, Hal, and Finn with the Vanity Fair actress revealed that his family often gets irritated by his absence.

In an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with host Josh Harowitz the British actor was joined by co-star Olivia Colman to promote their satirical black comedy, The Roses.

The four-time Golden Globe winner stated of his family, "Being away from home p*** them off," referring to his work engagements.

This made him come up with a time limit, two weeks to be specific ,that he doesn’t cross in terms of time away from his loved ones.

"It p*** me off too, so we try and do as much to make that not the case — the two-week rule, and try to work as hard as possible on making work happen here nearer home so I can get home, or take them with me," Benedict noted.

Notably, the Doctor Strange star and his wife mainly keep their private life out of the public eye, but occasionally step out together for red carpets.
