Austin Butler set to make bold career move

Austin Butler revealed he plans to quietly step out of the spotlight after completing the press tour for his latest crime thriller, Caught Stealing.

The 34-year-old actor, best known for his role in Dune: Part Two, shared that he intends to unplug and “disappear” for a while to recharge away from the chaos of fame.

Speaking to Extra during the final leg of promotions, Butler admitted that going off the radar was exactly what his mind needed.

“After this press tour, I’m going to turn my phone off and disappear. I find that it’s very good for the brain. It’s important to step away from the noise,” he said, adding that solitude and time outdoors help him stay grounded.

The upcoming film, which also stars Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, and Bad Bunny, gave the Oscar-nominated actor another chance to collaborate with top-tier talent.

Reflecting on the project, the Black Swan filmmaker praised the Batman actress, “It’s a great thing to get to work with somebody like that.”

Despite his rising fame, the Elvis star confessed he is still adjusting to the pressures that come with it.

“Everyone’s idea of who you are shifts, but you’re still the same inside,” he reflected.

When will Caught Stealing release?

Austin Butler’s crime thriller Caught Stealing will be released in the U.S. on August 29, following earlier international openings on August 27.
