Victoria Beckham has made a shocking confession about her lifelong battle with “bad skin.”
The 51-year-old star, famously known as Posh Spice, admitted she has suffered from acne since she was young.
While speaking to British Vogue, the former Spice Girl revealed that there was a time when her face was so covered in spots.
“When I say I used to have bad skin, there was a time when I couldn’t put a pin between the acne on my face,” she told.
She explained that her breakouts forced her to hide behind heavy make-up, but instead of boosting her confidence, it only made her feel worse.
“I felt like I was wearing a mask,” she admitted, recalling how self-conscious she felt even on the school run.
Behind her glamorous image and marriage to football legend David Beckham, the designer admitted she was secretly battling her personal struggles.
Victoria confessed she began wearing make-up far too early, desperate to cover her blemishes.
“I know what it’s like not to feel confident because of your skin,” she said.
Notably, her own insecurities eventually led her to create a foundation aimed at women who struggle with acne flare-ups.
The revelation comes as David and Victoria continue to face whispers of a strained relationship with their eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Victoria Beckham has admitted that her reluctance to smile in public photos stemmed from her struggles with skin problems.
She explained that dealing with acne made her extremely cautious about her diet and left her feeling uncomfortable in her own skin.
