Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise to unite for new project?

Hollywood heartthrobs Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have been two of the most celebrated actors of their generation with numerous hits to their name.

The two last collaborated on a project in 1994 on Interview With The Vampire, years before both catapulted to global fame.

Both went on to do some of the most iconic projects of Hollywood, yet they never worked together again, but this could change.

Director Joseph Kosinski, who has worked with Tom as well as Brad, has expressed his wish to reunite the two stars.

“A reporter asked me a question and said, "If you could make a movie with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, what would that movie be?”, Joseph told Collider.

Joseph revealed he thought of uniting the two on-screen by writing Brad’s F1 character Sonny Hayes with Tom’s Days of Thunder character, Cole Trickle, as both were racers.

“I just thought that would be a really great story, but probably impossible to make. Talk about Mission: Impossible. That would be a tricky, tricky film to pull off.”, he added.

It was also revealed recently that Brad and Tom were in talks to star in Ford v Ferrari which eventually went to Matt Damon and Christian Bale.
