Brad Paisley collaborates with Hallmark for first-ever Opry Christmas
Hallmark kicked off its Countdown to Christmas in spectacular style with a brand-new festive treat from Nashville.
For the first time, Hallmark joined forces with the iconic Grand Ole Opry for A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, showcasing original songs by country music star Brad Paisley.
The film features Nikki DeLoach as Gentry Woods, the daughter of the late country legend Jett Woods.
Following her father’s sudden passing 30 years ago, Gentry abandoned her dreams of songwriting, until a magical night at the Opry transports her back to 1995.
In the past, she reunites with her father, rediscovers the inspiration to complete an old song, and unravels family secrets that have been hidden for years.
Kristoffer Polaha joins Nikki in this heartwarming tale, while Paisley, who also penned Hallmark’s official Christmas anthem, said, “The Hallmark Channel has always been part of our holiday spirit at home. I loved creating music that brings the same magic as these films.”
Filmed at the iconic Opry House in Tennessee, rumours are swirling that country legends like Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, and rising stars Luke Combs and Lainey Wilson could make appearances.
