Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden come together for ‘Pride and Prejudice’

Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden have just given anticipants a sneak peek into one of the scenes from the Pride and Prejudice shoot.

The pair appeared to be filming an intense scene in The Peak District, Derbyshire for the Euros Lyn directed, upcoming Netflix series.

In the snaps captured of the duo, The Crown actress donned a flowy grey silk dress with a long-sleeved floral jacket and laced up ankle boots as she portrayed the renowned Elizabeth bennet.

Meanwhile her counterpart, Fitzwilliam Darcy, who is played by the Dunkirk star was also aptly dressed in classic Regency-era grey frock coat with breeches, a black waistcoat and a white high neck shirt peeking out from underneath.

The Scottish actor paired the look with calf-length boots, as he seemed to embody the expressions of his character, which Jane Austen had described as “the proudest, most disagreeable man in the world.”

Meanwhile an onlooker told the Daily Mail, “Jack was playing quite the dashing English gentleman riding his horse through the countryside before meeting up with Emma.”

The six-part series is expected to wrap up filming by the end of 2025, but some of the scenes that have been scrapped from the narrative have already garnered contempt.

What scene will not be included?

As per reports, the Netflix original will not contain the iconic lake scene form the 1995 adaptation of the classic novel, which was enacted by Colin Firth.
