William once convinced Kate that a mysterious black cat was roaming the royal estate
Prince William is known for his playful sense of humour, a trait he shares with his late mother Princess Diana and grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, and a former royal butler has revealed one prank that left Princess Kate believing a hilarious tale.
Grant Harrold, who worked with the royal family for several years, told Heart Bingo that William and Kate often enjoy lighthearted jokes.
“They do love playing pranks,” he explained. “When you say play pranks, it’s more jokey; it’s silly things they do to each other.”
Recalling one memorable moment, Harrold said William once convinced Kate that a mysterious black cat was roaming the royal estate, which he jokingly described as “a witch’s castle.”
With Harrold backing him up, Kate believed she kept missing the sighting while William mischievously strung her along.
The couple’s playful streak extended beyond each other. Harrold added: “They definitely do have wind-ups, and they play practical jokes on each other and the staff too.”
Even Prince Harry wasn’t immune to the fun.
Reports claim Kate once gifted him a cheeky “Grow Your Own Girlfriend” kit for Christmas.
