Tina Fey rose to fame as part of the Chicago-based improvisational comedy group The Second City.
She then went on to grow her audience by joining the NBC show Saturday Night Live.
While attending the Edinburgh TV Festival, British TV presenter Graham Norton said he cannot believe British writers will stay up all night on a Tuesday, like the US writers.
Tina said, “Here’s a dirty secret, you don’t have to do it that way, you could start in the morning.”
The comment comes after it was announced in April that SNL creator Lorne Michaels would bring a British version of the iconic show.
The show will be released in 2026 however, there have been no further details revealed to the public.
Tina has been a member on the show for long and speaking about her first time, she said it was “super intimidating”.
The actress also recalled the incident with the former British Prime Minister David Cameron, who wanted to speak to her about shows in the UK.
She revealed, “And I got this call from someone at NBC that said if you could come into Rockefeller Centre David Cameron is here and has requested to meet you.”
