Margot Robbie, who is currently promoting her forthcoming movie A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, spoke candidly about the joys of parenthood.
The 35-year-old actress, famously known for her role as Harley Quinn, welcomed her first baby in October 2024 with husband Tom Ackerley.
The Barbie star shared her first reflections on motherhood nine months after giving birth to her son.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she described being a mum as “the best.”
“It’s like, [when] you try to explain it to someone who has kids, you don’t need to, because they get it, and if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear,” she said.
“So, it’s kind of like, ‘It’s the best,’ you know?”
According to an insider, Robbie and Ackerley are overjoyed with their son.
The source told PEOPLE, “They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived. They’re so happy.”
For those unfamiliar, the couple got married in 2016 and have not yet revealed their child’s name.
The Suicide Squad alum’s pregnancy was made public in July 2024, and the pair enjoyed a romantic ‘babymoon’ in Sardinia in August.
On the professional front, she will be seen in the romantic fantasy A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, which is set to release in the US and UK on September 19.
