Lil Nas X pulls bizarre stunt resulting in arrest

Lil Nas X was unexpectedly spotted out and about by some locals on late Thursday night, but it was not some cute meet-and-greet end ended up in the singer getting arrested.

The Old Town Road singer was seen walking down the street at around 6 a.m., in nothing but underwear and boots by Los Angeles residents.

In clips taken of him and obtained by TMZ, the rapper whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was telling passerby’s to "come to the party.”

Due to all this, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) were called to Ventura Boulevard, where they allege that the 26-year-old “charged” at them, earning himself an arrest on suspicion of battery.

The singer was then taken into custody, before being taken to the hospital for treatment of a possible overdose.

X has since been discharged and has been put through the booking process, with different sources also noting that he could have been under mental distress.

The two-time Grammy award winner was set to release his highly-anticipated second studio album later this year, after teasing the launch on his social media.

Notably, X had also undergone facial paralysis in April, once again taking to his social media to update his fans and followers on the incident.

How did Lil Nas X rise to fame?

Lil Nas X rose to fame after he released Old Town Road. The rapper was named Best Music Video for the original and Best Pop Duo for the version featuring Billy Ray Cyrus at the Grammys in 2020.
