Helen Mirren makes concerning statement about husband
The actress is married to Taylor Hackford
Helen Mirren has raised concerns with her recent statement about her husband, Taylor Hackford.
The pair has been married since 1997, after he directed her in White Nights.
The Academy Award winning actress has declared that she does not want to work with her husband ever again.
The British actress explained that even though she loves working with her director husband, she will not work with him.
The reason she gave was rather understandable, which many celebrities follow.
Helen wants to keep her private and professional life separate, hence, she avoid working with her man.
In an interview with People, Helen answered why the duo does not work together.
“I don't really like collaborating with Taylor, quite honestly”, she said.
She explained: “I love watching him work. I love being with him as he's planning, as he's developing, as he's filming. But I want my work to be separate from him.”
The couple has worked twice together, first on White Nights in 1985 and later for the 2010 comedy drama Love Ranch.
Helen has explained how their love has lasted for so long, saying that they know when to be together and when to give each other space.
