Kirsten Dunst opens up about son’s major health scare

Kirsten Dunst sat down for an interview with Town & Country magazine where she opened up about her son, James’ recent health scare.

She shares the four year old with her husband, actor Jesse Plemons, adding that the incident took place while she was filming The Entertainment System Is Down in Budapest.

Not diving into specifics, the actress said that the fear she felt was like, “Final Destination, where you’re imagining all the things that could go wrong, worst-case scenarios happening to your child. I have never seen that movie. But I know the concept. That’s how it feels to be a mother at times.”

She admitted that “it was an extremely frightening time and enough to send the family back to their extended support system in L.A.” Fortunately, the incident “brought us together as a family in such a deeper way.”
