As the 33-year-old and Taylor have been close friends for nearly two decades, Selena’s response to the singer’s upcoming album was highly anticipated.

However, the People You Know hitmaker ditched a shout out post for her best friend and instead her brand Rare beauty posted a grainy, orange template.

It was instantly pointed out by her fans that it closely resembles the teaser of the Grammy winner’s twelfth studio record.

Before revealing the cover on New Heights, the Reputation artist shared an orange lock with teal background.

Many admirers shared gifs of the two singers on multiple occasions. One of the netizens named their probable collaboration: “The life of a raregirl.”

Another user wrote that the first click is “giving TS vibes,” while a third one is “manifesting a crossover.” 

A bead artist's page penned down a possible Easter egg noting that Selena’s “carousel posts a few days ago” had a lot of "orange."

The update was re-shared on the singer’s social media story, indicating the beauty mogul might be thinking of launching a new shade of “blush” as a tribute to her pal Taylor.

This collaboration might realise as the two pop stars appear together, celebrating each other’s achievements.
