Post Malone looks to children’s TV for inspiration

Post Malone seems to be caught up in the catchiness of the tunes that children’s songs have, since spending time with his little one.

The Sunflowers hitmaker, who had his daughter with ex-fiancée Hee Sung "Jamie" Park in May 2022, spoke at length about the baby girl while discussing his unexpected collaboration with Skims, Kim Kardashian’s brand.

In an interview with GQ, the I Had Some Help crooner stated of the toddler, "She loves Paw Patrol. She loves Pororo, it’s like a Korean penguin. And they sing a bunch of great songs, and they’re catchy as f---. I might steal some melodies, but probably not. I don’t want to get in trouble."

Post went on to describe another one of the three-year-old’s musical favourites, noting, "And she loves George Strait. She loves the steel guitar, which I’m pretty pumped about. But she’s so funny. She has the funniest dance.”

The 30-year-old gushed over his daughter, calling her funny for the small ways she teases her dad, such as calling Jelly Roll a better singer than him and repeating things he says.

Post has fully embraced the dad life, adding that at the end of the all somebody needs is a family, and after performing and traveling for a decade, he is exactly where he is meant to be.

Post Malone has not publicly disclosed the name of his three-year-old child but she was referred to as “DDP” in court documents to maintain her anonymity.
