Mikey Madison defies Hollywood rules after Oscar win

Mikey Madison made history with her movie Anora by winning the prestigious Oscar for Best Actress in a leading role at the age of 25.
The actress became the ninth youngest woman to win the Academy in the category, beating the likes of Demi Moore and Cynthia Erivo.
The 26-year-old is defying stereotypes of how a Hollywood diva should be.
In conversation with Vogue Italia, Mikey opened up about her personality, newfound fame and life after winning the Oscar at such a young age.
Hollywood stars are generally expected to attend premieres, parties, and be active on social media, but Mikey refuses to follow the path.
She talked about her inclination towards seclusion and said it is because of her being an introvert.
“I'm extremely introverted, but I also have a big desire for adventure. It's a conflict I've always felt, but it's gotten worse lately,”, she said.
On not joining social media like her peers, she said, “I'm not on social media, I never regret missing a party or a dinner, but it seems like society is forcing me to ask myself (the questions).”
She also added that most people pretend to be someone they are not to make others comfortable.
