Miley Cyrus and the rest of her family, namely father Billy Ray, mother Tish and sister Noah have seen their fair share of family feuds being torn apart in the media, and now the Again singer is unraveling her thoughts on the matter.
The 25-year-old talked about how she deals with all of the attention surrounding her famous family, since her new album I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me, places a special emphasis on family and lineage.
In a cover story with People, the July crooner stated, “I keep myself quite separated from any interest or ‘drama’ with the family. The one thing that's connected us with the entire world is music, and that's what's the most important to us.”
“Yeah, it emotionally is draining, but it doesn't hurt us or touch us. It's something that you really learn to keep separate and far away from yourself,” she continued, likely referring to the family often being dragged in rumoured rifts or fights.
Noah went on to say that she and her clan realise that they are good people and have a lot of love for each other, which makes it easier to navigate their experience in the limelight.
The Grammy nominated singer, whose latest album was on July 11, features four generations of her bloodline, with a hymn written by her great-grandfather, sung by her grandfather as well as the first song Billy has ever written also being on the record.
Yes, Noah is set to kick off her tour for I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me on September 12, 2025.
