Megan Fox is reflecting on her role in the 2009 cult classic Jennifer’s Body, and the way she could relate to her character at the time.
The Transformers star revealed all that she was thinking and feeling while her character goes through major changes on screen.
At a special screening in Los Angeles the 39-year-old was asked about if she could go back in time and give some advice to her younger self what would it be, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures event.
Fox stated, “Oh, I don't know that I would give myself advice. I think where I was at that point in my life, so lost, so full of that rage that I had towards how I had been treated in the industry, and how I was dealing with fame and the constant … at that time, before we started filming.”
The mother-of-four then recalled an incident in which the paparazzi were calling her names, and how ruthless they were at the time while talking to women, when she was just trying to get to her car.
“And like I said, being able to just have the permission to be unhinged even in between takes or maybe the entire time we were there, that was very cathartic for me,” Fox continued, referring to her character that gets possessed and goes on a killing spree targeting male classmates.
The Hope & Faith actress opened up more about how she felt like the script resonated with her on deeper levels.
It is unclear whether Fox and MGK are rekindling their romance, or simply co-parenting due to recent reports.
