Taylor Swift spills secrets on emotional moment with Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift is giving insights into the celebratory and milestone moment when she regained control of her complete catalog of songs with an emotional story.

In light of the upcoming The Life of a Showgirl, the Wildest Dreams singer discussed how the deal with Shamrock Capital went and what happened when she broke the news to Travis Kelce.

The 14-time Grammy winner made her highly anticipated podcast debut with the Kansas City Chiefs player and his brother Jason Kelce on August 13 on their New Heights podcast to announce her album, and detailed how she felt not owning her work.

"I thought about not owning my music every day. It was like an intrusive thought I had every day," she noted of her thoughts before she made the purchase of an extensive amount of her discography.

Taylor went on to shockingly reveal that she was not even in the room when the deal was being made, and that it was her brother Austin swift and mother Andrea Swift who spoke on her behalf.

The global icon then stated she bawled her eyes out and that she had “very dramatically hit the floor, for real” going on to add that whenever she thinks about the moment, she tears up a little.

"Dropped, had no power in my life to support myself. Yeah, this changed my life. I can’t believe it still. Every time I think about it, I have to tell the short version to everyone. This will affect the rest of my life,” Taylor said.

Notably, the Miss America star considers this something that she will think about forever, and considers herself lucky for.

It is reported that Taylor paid $360 million to get back her first six albums which she was re-recording in order to gain creative control over her music.
