Jeremy Strong is in talks for a role in the upcoming film The Social Network Part II, and sources claim that he is the frontrunner to play Mark Zuckerberg, according to Deadline.
The casting for the META CEO and Facebook founder has not made its way to any official offers, but Strong seems to unofficially be the top choice.
It was reported earlier by the outlet that Jeremy Allen White and Mikey Madison are also among the top choices to star in the film, with Aaron Sorkin as the choice for writer and director.
The follow up to the hugely successful original is in the works, with Todd Black, Peter Rice, Sorkin and Stuart Besser producing.
The META CEO was played by Jesse Eisenberg in the first movie, going on to score an Oscar nomination for his performance.
“Mark Zuckerberg creates a social networking site, Facebook, with his friend Eduardo's help. Though it turns out to be a successful venture, he severs ties with several people along the way,” reads the synopsis of The Social Network.
