‘The Social Network’ sequel gets new update

The 2010 film The Social Network was a big hit as it followed the story of Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg creating the social media site.

The movie was nominated for 8 oscars out of which it ended up winning 3.

Now the film is getting a long-awaited sequel as fans are anticipating who will be casted.

It has been reported that the movie has secured its lead as Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison will star alongside Jeremy White Allen in the upcoming sequel.

The Deadline reported that the two have been casted in the Aaron Sorkin-led project as no official offer has been made but the two are clear frontrunners.

While the first movie was the creating of Facebook, the sequel will follow the case of Facebook Files which was an explosive series of articles published in October 2021 by Jeff Horowitz in The Wall Street Journal.

The sequel titled The Social Network II would likely feature Mikey as Frances Haugen and Jeremy as Jeff Horowitz.
