Johnny Depp, who made headlines with his public lawsuit against ex Amber Heard, joined other notable figures by paying homage to Ozzy Osbourne.
Ozzy, lead vocalist of Black Sabbath, left fans sobbing with his sudden demise at the age of 76 days after performing at his farewell show.
Although it became the rocker’s last concert of his life, Ozzy’s music legacy was remembered by Alice Cooper and Johnny at a special performance.
The duo took the stage by storm on Friday at Alice’s London musicale by performing cover of Black Sabbath’s Paranoid.
The Pirates of the Caribbean lead played guitar in loving memory of the Prince of Darkness after the School’s Out hitmaker announced: “Let’s hear it for Ozzy!”
This came after the Grammy-nominated singer honoured the departed soul by dedicating his Cardiff show to the singer in Wales.
The rock singer was seemingly devastated by the sad news as he admitted on stage: “We all know that time is going to take us rockers, but when the giants fall, it’s really hard to accept.”
The band also noted that the “whole world is mourning” the death of the legendary artist as he left behind a musical legacy.
While Johnny is notable for his long-standing acting career, he was a musician before gaining recognition with his acting skills. He holds a great passion for music.
