Jonas Brothers, who are notable for creating several chart-topping hits, and father Kevin Jonas Sr. have entered a new deal over few music releases.

While the band continue to rock fans with their electric performance, the Jonas Brothers made a big decision for a part of their music catalogue.

It was reported by Billboard that the soft-rock band’s publishing and recording rights of few music pieces were bought by their father Kevin’s company.

Jonas Group Entertainment Holdings now owns rights over their recent albums and songs, including: Happiness Begins, The Album and singles Like It’s Christmas, Remember This.

The ownership of Nick’s solo record Spaceman was also transferred as part of their deal. However, they still have ownership of four records.

While speaking with the outlet, the father-of-four revealed that this was finalised as a result of a bidding war with a special promise from his side.

The film producer, who called it an “easy” collaboration, pledged to “take care of their songs the way any artist manager would.”

Kevin assured the sons that there exists no one else who can “love your music any more than I do or be any more proud of you.”

On the other hand, the band members admitted it was a "full-circle moment."

They gushed about the president of the music publishing company Leslie DiPiero, calling her a “true champion for songwriters and creators.”

When are Jonas Brothers releasing new album?

The group is all set to release their new album Greetings From Your Hometown on August 8, which will be followed by a tour with the same name.
