Fans grow angry over $1,659 Paul McCartney tickets

Fans of beloved singer Paul McCartney have been left angered after trying to purchase tickets for his September 29 show at Acrisure Arena.

Particularly due to the concert tickets being sold at outrageous prices ranging from $800 to $1,700 each.

One user with the name @espiritu_libre38 wrote on the arena’s page that the tickets were sold out after "waiting in line almost an hour."

User @myampfel complained, "Tickets were $1,659. I stood no chance," while @derekmack7556 remarked, "How was the minimum priced ticket over $300?!? Highway robbery."

McCartney will be starting off his Got Back tour in Palm Desert, after which he will be taking off for 15 other cities across Canada and the U.S.

It will come to an end in Chicago, with him performing at two shows at the United Center on Nov. 24 and 25.

It isn’t just tickets for Acrisure Arena that are expensive, one user on Reddit said that tickets for his final shows in Chicago showed to be $1200 for one night. Another claimed that they cost $650 for the October 17 show at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
