The former heartthrob Chad Michael Murray has been confronted with flattery
Chad Michael Murray was informed about the internet’s fixation with his grown-out locks, and he had a charming answer that validates his much-loved status.
The One Tree Hill star held the title of being the “internet’s boyfriend” for a long time, and when asked about his hair proceeded reveal what makes it so great at the Los Angeles Premiere of Freakier Friday.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the father-of-three was asked if he knows that netizens love his blonde locks to which he laughed and responded, "I have no idea how to answer that question. I have God and my dad to thank."
He joked that the actor’s hair was "probably going to get its own credit in the picture and we're going to keep it."
Chad then disclosed that it had grown during Covid, and that he had not cut it off, before the interviewer and the 43-year-old humorously discussed that the hair deserved its own award and name.
The House of Wax actor quipped that it should be known as Chad Michael Furry, before admitting that it wasn’t a very good name.
When will Freakier Friday be released?
Freakier Friday is slated for release on August 8, 2025. The movie follows Tess and Anna after a time skip in which they discover that lightning may indeed strike twice.
