The Fantastic Four: First Steps is inching closer to its release date, and ahead of that, Vanessa Kirby turned heads at the film’s Los Angeles premiere in a sheer blue ensemble on the red carpet.
On Monday, July 21, the new Marvel film made its debut at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
Vanessa, who stars as Sue Storm, the second lead in the movie, made a bold splash at the Fantastic Four: First Steps world premiere in a fully monochromatic blue look.
The Oscar-nominated actress redefined red carpet textures in a striking mesh gown by Givenchy.
Her form-fitting dress confidently showcased her baby bump, while she took a fashion-forward risk by pairing the outfit with matching strappy blue heels from Manolo Blahnik.
The Crown star is currently expecting a child, which mirrors her role in the film where she plays a pregnant superhero.
Recently, the BAFTA-nominated actress opened up about the unique experience of portraying a mother-to-be on screen while being pregnant in real life.
“It was so exciting to me, this idea of having a pregnant superhero, a working mother,” Vanessa said. “Even in the shooting of it, it was surreal because I had this pregnancy bump, but I was so included in everything.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is set to hit theatres soon.
