Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get roasted in new 'Family Guy' episode

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back in the satirical spotlight, with Family Guy taking fresh aim at the couple in a new episode that aired last week.

The cartoon show, famous for skewering celebrities, included a scene where characters Stewie and Brian travel back in time and list “Prince Harry marrying Meghan Markle” as one of history’s darkest moments, alongside The Crusades and Hitler.

The gag continues as the scene cuts to a cartoon version of Harry watching the show itself, exclaiming “Oh, again?” before turning to the audience and sarcastically quipping, “Oh, like all your wives are so much better?”

This isn’t the first time Family Guy has targeted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In a 2023 episode, the show mocked Harry and Meghan for their lucrative Netflix deal, depicting them lounging poolside as a butler delivered a cheque for “millions… for no-one knows what.”

Harry’s animated character mutters “Put it with the rest of them,” while Meghan’s cartoon self receives a phone alert and announces: “Babe, it’s time to do our $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.”

The latest episode echoes earlier mockery from South Park, which also ridiculed the couple’s public life and commercial ventures.
