Kate Beckinsale's mother passes away at 78

Kate Beckinsale, paralyzed with sorrow, paid tribute to her late mother Judy Loe, who breathed her last at the age of 78.

On Thursday, July 17, the actress took to her Instagram to grieve the loss of late Judy stating that her mom passed away in her arms on the night of July 15.

In the shared homage, the daughter of the deceased explained that the reason behind her post was only that she had to register her mother's death certificate, as she knew “it will soon become public record”.

The tribute came along with the carousel containing throwback snaps of late actress.

The Pearl Harbor star penned, "She died the night of July 15th in my arms after immeasurable suffering.I have not picked all the best photos, nor the best videos, because I cannot bear to go through my camera roll yet."

"I deeply apologise to any of her friends who are finding out this way or through the press, but I cannot go through her phone . I am paralysed. Jude was the compass of my life ,the love of my life, my dearest friend," the Click actress added.

She concluded her post, noting that she loved the departed soul and would miss her a lot. This had been her greatest fear after discovering the death of her father, Richard Beckinsale, who had passed away when she was just five years old.
