Johnny Depp referenced his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and the children the two share in two stunning art pieces.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star’s art exhibition is set to be shown at Castle Fine Art in London will also go on sale.
‘Let the Light In’ is the name of the collection which contains the copies of two of his original works made in the early 2000s.
Th portraits were made when he was living with A Monster In Paradis star and the ex-lovers children Jack, 23, and Lily-Rose, 26 at Le Hameau in the South of France.
One of the paintings, called 'A Rose Is a Rose Is a Rose' is a tribute for his firstborn daughter, while his self-portrait, titled 'Add The Light' is also from the time he was in the more than a decade long relationship with Paradis.
Johnny noted of the fist artwork, “When Lily-Rose was a little kiddie, I’d paint her a rose every Valentine’s Day. On Mother’s Day I’d paint Vanessa some roses.”
The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor has also made a tarot inspired painting for the White Wedding star, in which Vanessa can be seen wearing a crown on The Empress card.
