Johnny Depp opens up on ‘hate’ amid Amber Heard trial
The couple had a very public divorce
Hollywood star Johnny Depp got divorced from former wife and co-actor Amber Heard which was followed by a very high profile trial as Amber accused him of domestic violence.
The actor, now addressing the trial period when all eyes were on the case as it was being harshly scrutinised, has insisted that he refuses to “hold” onto the hate.
Johnny told the Telegraph that “one can simply hold hate (until it) inspires some species of malice in your skull.”
“Makes you think of revenge. But hating someone is a great big responsibility to hang on to.”, he added.
The actor emphasized that he does not care saying “The real truth of it, that I won’t allow, is that in order for me to hate, I have to care first. And I don’t care.”
The 62-year-old is now moving on with his life as he looks forward to continue acting in Hollywood after being sidelined during the past years because of the ongoing case.
