The actresses are said to be in a cold war for years
Sarah Michelle Gellar has finally addressed the rumours of her being in a feud with co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt.
The two actresses starred in the 1997 horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer and since then it was speculated that there are tensions brewing between the two.
After the red carpet of I Know What You Did Last Summer revival on July 14, fans noticed that there were no picture sof the two actresses together.
A fan wrote on X “Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Love Hewitt not posing together at the IKWYDLS premiere… we need to open an investigation”.
Another wrote “I’m unreasonably mad that Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar didn’t take a picture with Jennifer Love Hewitt on the red carpet of the I Know What You Did Last Summer premiere.”.
As people were speculating, Sarah broke her silence and commented on it.
“‘For everyone asking — I never got to see @jenniferlovehewitt, who is fantastic in the movie, Sarah wrote on July 16.
“I was inside with my kids when the big carpet happened. And unfortunately JLH didn’t come to the after party.”, she further explained.
