‘The Odyssey’ by Christopher Nolan gets major release news

Major news has dropped for those who are highly anticipating the huge release from Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey.

Imax tickets for the movie will be available for purchase a whole year before its release, however, it will only be for Imax 70mm screens and at specific show timings.

For other formats and times, tickets for the flick will go up much closer to the actual release date.

It is unusual for tickets to go up so early, however, excitement is growing for the follow up to the director’s megahit Oppenheimer which brought in $975 million globally and won the Oscar for best picture.

A minute long teaser was dropped for the film in theaters ahead of playing Jurassic World: Rebirth and Superman.

An adaptation of the epic from Homer, it stars Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Odysseus’ son Telemachus as well as other A-list stars including Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron and Jon Bernthal.

The movie is set to come out in theaters on July 17, 2026.
