Nintendo and Sony have found the face of their live action adaptation of the beloved game, The Legend Of Zelda.

Shigeru Miyamoto from Nintendo revealed in a social media post that Bo Bragason will be playing Zelda while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will play Link.

“I am pleased to announce that for the live-action film of ‘The Legend of Zelda,’ Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason-san, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san,” he stated. “I am very much looking forward to seeing both of them on the big screen.”

Bragason has starred in projects such as Three Girls, The Jetty, as well as Disney+’s Renegade Nell.

Ainsworth voiced Pinocchio in the film from Robert Zemeckis and he also took on the role of Miles in the Netflix series, The Haunting of Bly Manor.

The Legend of Zelda will be hitting theaters on May 7, 2027, originally having the release timeline of March 2027 but they moved it due to production issues.

The director for the movie is the one behind Kingdom of the Planet of the Ape as well as The Maze Runner, Wes Ball.
