The Korean entertainment industry is mourning the tragic loss of actress Kang Seo Ha who passed away after a prolonged battle against stomach cancer.
Her family says that she passed away on the afternoon of July 13, 2025, as her health started deteriorating after the second round of chemotherapy, reports ChosunBiz.
On July 14, a friend of the late actress posted on social media writing: “Despite enduring so much pain, she was always worried about those around her and my worries. She hadn't eaten well for months, yet insisted on paying for my meals with her card; she was my angel."
The Flower in Prison actress’ funeral is being held at Room 8 of the funeral hall at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital in Banpo-dong.
The official ceremony will take place at 7:40 AM on July 16, after which she will be cremated at Seoul Memorial Park.
The deceased remained dedicated to her craft despite declining health. She recently completed filming for the upcoming movie In the Net starring Kim Seon Ho and Park Gyu Young.
