Benny Blanco breaks silence about fiancée Selena Gomez's ex

Benny Blanco opened up about his fiancée Selena Gomez’s former boyfriend in his latest interview.

In a recent podcast appearance, the American record producer admitted to the host that prior to 2019, he wasn't aware of the pop band named Jonas Brothers, despite his fiancée having been previously romantically linked to Nick Jonas.

In July 10, episode of Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast, the chat started when the host revealed that he had a huge crush on James Maslow from Big Time Rush, and the 37-year-old singer responded to it candidly that he’s never heard the Boyfriend song of the band before, including other members Kendall Schmidt, Carlos PenaVega and Logan Henderson.

The I Can't Get Enough songwriter stated, “I didn’t know who the Jonas Brothers were until [the 2019 hit] ‘Sucker.’”

Meanwhile, in the interview, he shared that he had heard of the Jonas Brothers by name, but he had never listened to their songs until the song Sucker was released.

Furthermore, the Friends Keep Secrets album maker also mentioned, “I’m older than you. I had never seen Selena’s show [Wizards of Waverly Place] until we started dating.”

For the unversed, Gomez was in a relationship with Jonas briefly from 2008 to 2010.
