American fantasy and live action film, How To Train Your Dragon is leading the charts on box office by surpassing 28 Years Later, Lilo & Stitch, Ballerina and Materialists this week.

Golden Trailer Award winner was released on June 13, 2025, and globally grossed over $521 million. Mason Thames was seen as Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III while Nico Parker appeared as Astrid Hofferson.

Canadian Filmmaker, Dean DeBlois animated film ranks No.3 at box office domestic weekend 27 chart while Jurassic World: Rebirth and F1: The Movie hold first and second spots respectively.

Universal Pictures International (UPI) provided data at box office official site shows How To Train Your Dragon earned $11,248,765 during the 27th week. Meanwhile, Elio made $9,782,305, 28 Years Later with $4,903,006, Materialists earned $1,482,621 and Ballerina at $739,354.

The action film is at number five with $523 million and leading mega releases like Sinners, Thunderbolts and Captain America: Brave New World according to the 2025 worldwide box office report.

When does the next How to Train Your Dragon film come out?

How to Train Your Dragon 2 premiered on June 13, 2014, and Universal Pictures at CinemaCon 2025 announced a sequel of that second fantasy film from the trilogy will be released on June 11, 2027.
