The reality TV star Kim Kardashian shared a touching note for her late childhood friend Lindsay May on her birthday, who passed away last year.
The 44-year-old American media personality first met Lindsay at school, and they have remained since.
On Saturday, July 6, the SKIMS founder took to her Instagram to write an emotional tribute, she added, “It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz (purple heart emoji and butterfly emoji).”
However, the touching tribute was accompanied with the collection of images containing throwback snaps from memorable trip with friends.
The businesswoman mentioned that she waited months to post this, mostly because she couldn’t find the right words for it. Nothing really captures how quiet and empty their lifers' (name of Kim's childhood friends group) chat feels without the deceased in it.
She continued, “I know you’d probably roll your eyes at me posting anything — especially since you didn’t really even have social media — but I couldn’t go through this lake trip without feeling you everywhere, and I needed to share it.”
For the unversed, Kim announced the demise of Lindsay on her social media profile in June 2025, who passed away after suffering from a rare type of cancer.
Lindsay May was the co-founder of the consulting agency Mayflower Entertainment.
