John Leguizamo hints at role in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Odyssey’

John Leguizamo sat down for an interview with People where he opened up about his role in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated movie, The Odyssey.

"It's a dream team," he explained of the star studded cast, which includes Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland.

Saying the scripts are “amazing”, he remarked, "We were in amazing locations. It's seven countries. They're in Morocco, Greece, Sicily, back to L.A., and [Nolan is] bringing work back to L.A. and to America, which is incredible.”

"A huge American cast. It's diverse — oh my God, I just love this project," he added.

The movie features Damon as Odysseus, Holland, Pattinson, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron, as well as others.

In another interview, Leguizamo stated, “When the opportunity came in, it was the phone call of a lifetime. It was reminiscent of getting the call about Spider-Man 10 years ago. It’s an amazing thing for me. I’m super proud and I’m really, really excited.”

The movie follows the epic poem of the same name written by Homer.
