Robert Pattinson makes rare comment about ‘The Odyssey’ costar Matt Damon

Robert Pattinson recently made rare comment about The Odyssey costar Matt Damon, calling him “a complete psycho”.

The English actor, who plays Antinous in the Christopher Nolan epic, explained the reason behind branding Matt as a “psycho”.

“There’s a thing which Matt did when we were shooting something and he was in the trailer next to me and he was making these noises in the trailer,” said the 40-year-old in a recent MTV interview.

Robert admitted that he was stunned to hear screaming from Matt’s dressing room.

“I thought he was on the phone and I’m like, ‘He’s a complete psycho,’” mentioned Twilight alum.

Robert further said that Matt is “like, screaming and screaming and screaming. And I’m like, ‘Either you’re having a really bad toilet experience or like…’”

Later, the Mickey 17 actor got to know that Matt was “blowing his voice out just to sound older” because his character ages in the epic Greek poem adaptation.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Robert also praised Matt’s dedication for portraying Odysseus, the legendary king of Ithaca in The Odyssey.

The Drama actor was in awe of The Martian actor’s scene where he was tied to a mast on a ship in the movie.

“Seeing him on the mast, I’m like, ‘Jeez you’re really taking years off your life doing this,’” he added.
